Stour Concert Brass completed their summer programme with their regular visit to Tysoe show. The event was absolutely packed and parking was at a premium with the available park full and cars parked all over the village. The band was grateful for the shelter provided as there was some very heavy showers. Under conductor Nigel Hall, the band presented their usual varied programme to the packed audience with their first-half finale Breezin Down Broadway, a medley of songs from the shows, drawing considerable applause. It was great to have Luke Barker, Flowers Principal Cornet, helping out his first band and giving a delightful performance of the cornet solo Belvedere by Jan De Haan.
