On Sunday, 10th November, Shipston Town Band led the Remembrance Day Parade to St. Edmund’s Church, where they accompanied the hymns and performed the Welsh melody, David of the White Rock, during the Collection. Local organizations laid wreaths at Shipston’s memorial, and prefects from Shipston High School read the names of the fallen from both World Wars. Susan Snoxell, a member of Shipston Town Band, played the Last Post and Reveille.
Shipston also commemorated Armistice Day on Monday at the newly refurbished Memorial Garden, where Susan Snoxell once again played the Last Post and Reveille.
