SHIPSTON TOWN BANDS

Shipston-on-Stour

Town Band

Beginning of  the End of Christmas Eve

The end of November when the Band get into their Christmas schedule was a long time ago now and as the time gently slipped by members found themselves confronting the ‘Night Before Christmas’.

Once again Shipston called upon stalwart former member Charlie Cox to officiate on the Green at Luddington, a stones-throw from the church itself as Band and villagers gathered to celebreate the imminent arrival of the great day itself. The fine sounds of voices and brass rang out over the meadows to the Avon below in fine style and an enjoyable evening was had by all.
