Stour Witnesses Good Friday 2015

Over the past few years Stratford-upon-Avon’s ‘Procession of Witness’ has provided Stour with an early outing, usually in fine weather - this year, however, things proved a little damp to say the least.

Now an annual engagement for the Band who turned out despite the appalling conditions to mark the passing of another Good Friday by the Stratford combined churches as part of their Easter Commemorations. Lead by a large wooden cross which is carried before the procession, the Band accompanied the hymns sung at three sites in the town.
